Hello! My name is Amber, and I’m a certified postpartum night doula and newborn care specialist with a passion for supporting families during one of the most transformative times in life. I specialize in overnight care and gentle sleep training, helping parents get the rest and confidence they need while ensuring their newborns are safe, soothed, and nurtured.
With a career in healthcare that began in 2008, I bring a unique depth of clinical knowledge and compassion to my work. My journey started with a NICU internship at Baptist Women’s Hospital in Memphis, where I cared for premature and critically ill newborns. From 2009 to 2014, I supported individuals with intellectual disabilities, administering medications and assisting with daily living.
I continued building my clinical experience at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Germantown, working on the med-surg floor and frequently floating to Labor & Delivery and the Level III NICU. After relocating to Texas, I served in both hospice care and emergency care. I spent most of my time in the ED at Baylor University Medical Center, a Level 1 Trauma Hospital.
I was then honored to join Children’s Health, one of the nation’s top pediatric hospitals, where I worked on the Neuro floor and regularly floated to NICU, PICU, and TICU units.
My goal is to provide knowledgeable, calm, and compassionate support to help families navigate the early days with confidence.
